I have a rainbow family. But in the late 70’s and 80’s, this was more unusual than it is today. Because I wanted stories, toys and dolls that reflected other races and cultures for my kids, I made it a point to create illustrations that reflected the grace and beauty associated with every culture and race of people whenever the opportunity was available.  “With Love To Earth's Endangered” by Virginia Kroll and “When God Made the Tree” both reflect beautiful aspects of other cultures that should be celebrated. Both books won top awards.
